Terms & Conditions

This is the agreement between you and Pivot Coding, operated by Jeyakarthick Allwin (an individual (sole proprietor) based in India). By creating an account or making a purchase on pivotcoding.com, you accept these terms. Please read them - they are short and written to be understood.

1. The Service

What we provide

Pivot Coding is a self-paced online learning platform for technical interview and placement preparation. Paid plans unlock digital study material: structured course tracks, topic roadmaps, interview question decks, coding problems, project ideas, and placement-preparation content.

It is a self-study product. There are no live classes, mentorship sessions, or human-delivered services - you access the material and study at your own pace. We may add, update, reorganize, or retire individual pieces of content as the platform improves; the overall scope of your plan will not be materially reduced during a period you have paid for.

The platform may link to third-party websites (such as official documentation). Those sites are not under our control, and linking to them does not imply endorsement; your use of them is at your own risk.

2. Plans & Access Periods

What paid access includes

Courses + Interview Prep Kit

Full platform access, including structured courses, roadmaps, interview question decks, coding problems, project ideas, and placement-preparation material.

  • Paid access is sold for a fixed access period: 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months, counted in calendar months from the date access is granted.
  • The exact features and prices are the ones shown on the pricing page and at checkout at the time you buy.
  • When your access period ends, access to paid content stops. Your account and any free content remain available.

3. Payments

One-time purchase · no auto-renewal

  • Every plan is a ONE-TIME payment. Nothing auto-renews, and we never charge you again without a new purchase you initiate yourself.
  • Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our payment processor and Merchant of Record (MoR). As MoR, Dodo Payments is the legal seller of record for your transaction and handles checkout, applicable taxes, invoicing, and receipts.
  • Prices differ by region (India and International) and are shown in your local checkout currency before you pay. The price displayed at checkout is the price you pay.
  • Access is unlocked automatically as soon as your payment is confirmed - normally within minutes.
  • Promotional prices and discounts apply only at the time of purchase and do not change the terms of earlier or later purchases.

4. Refunds

Digital content with instant access

Pivot Coding is a fully paid course. Because digital access is delivered immediately after payment, all purchases are final and non-refundable once access has been granted. The only exception is a duplicate or multiple charge for the same plan, which we will refund. Nothing here limits any refund a mandatory consumer law in your country requires. The complete rules, timelines, and request process are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. Consumer Rights

Cooling-off & statutory protections

Where the law of your country gives you a cancellation or “cooling-off” right for digital content (for example, for EU/UK consumers), you expressly agree that we begin supplying the content immediately upon purchase, and you acknowledge that you lose that cancellation right once you access the content, to the extent the law allows.

Nothing in these terms limits protections you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) or other mandatory consumer law in your country that cannot be excluded by contract. Where such protections apply, they prevail over these terms.

6. Your Account & Acceptable Use

Your responsibilities

Your account and plan are for your personal, individual use. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Not share, sell, rent, or transfer your account or paid access to anyone else.
  • Not copy, scrape, download in bulk, redistribute, republish, or create derivative products from the platform content, in whole or in part.
  • Not bypass or attempt to bypass payment, paywalls, rate limits, or any security or access-control measure.
  • Not use the platform for anything unlawful, or interfere with its operation or other users.
  • Not use the platform or its content to cheat in, or have someone impersonate you in, any live interview, exam, or assessment. The content is for learning and preparation only.

One device at a time.Your account supports a single active session. Signing in on a new device or browser automatically signs you out everywhere else - the newest sign-in always wins. This is by design: it protects your account and prevents account sharing. If you were signed out unexpectedly, it usually means your account was signed in somewhere else; simply sign in again (and change your password if you don't recognize the activity).

The platform is intended for users aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, you may use the platform and purchase a plan only with the involvement and verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf - consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, which treats anyone under 18 as a child. By creating an account, you consent to receive service communications from us electronically (by email and on the site); these satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.

7. Intellectual Property

Content license & trademarks

All original content on Pivot Coding - course text, question decks, problem sets, roadmap structures, and the platform itself - is © 2026 Jeyakarthick Allwin. All rights reserved. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and study the content for your own learning while your plan is active. It does not transfer ownership of anything to you.

We teach widely used technologies (programming languages, frameworks, databases, and tools). All third-party names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and appear only to describe the subject matter taught. Pivot Coding is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of those owners.

We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe any content on Pivot Coding infringes your copyright, email us at support@pivotcoding.com with the work concerned, the URL of the allegedly infringing material, your contact details, and a good-faith statement of unauthorized use - we will review and respond promptly.

8. No Guarantees & Limitation of Liability

Important disclaimers

Pivot Coding sells preparation material. It is not a recruitment agency, hiring platform, placement service, or certification body, and completing any content confers no credential.

We do NOT guarantee:

  • • Employment, job placement, or interview calls
  • • Any specific salary, hike, or compensation
  • • Referrals or offers from any company
  • • Any particular exam, test, or interview result

The content is provided “as is” for educational purposes. We work to keep it accurate and current but do not warrant that it is error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost opportunities or lost income.

Indemnification: you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jeyakarthick Allwin and Pivot Coding from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any law or third-party right. This does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our own breach of these terms.

9. Suspension & Termination

Breach of these terms

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you materially breach these terms - including account sharing, content redistribution, or attempting to circumvent payment or access controls. Where reasonable, we will warn you first; we may act immediately where required for legal or security reasons.

If your account is terminated for breach, any remaining access period is forfeited and no refund is due, except where applicable law requires otherwise. You may delete your own account at any time from your profile page; deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of an active plan.

10. Force Majeure

Events beyond our control

We are not liable for failure or delay in providing the service caused by events beyond our reasonable control - including internet or hosting outages, payment processor failures, natural disasters, or acts of government. If such an event materially interrupts paid access for an extended period, we will restore service as quickly as possible and communicate through our available channels.

11. Changes & Governing Law

Updates and jurisdiction

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version; material changes will be reasonably highlighted (for example, a notice on the site). Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. Changes do not retroactively reduce what you already paid for.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-law venue rules in your country, disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.

12. Grievance Officer
