Refund Policy
The short version: Pivot Coding is a fully paid course and access unlocks instantly, so all purchases are final and non-refundable. The only exception is if you were charged more than once for the same plan - we will refund the duplicate payment. Pivot Coding is operated by Jeyakarthick Allwin, 11B/3 Vinayaga Nagar First Street, KK Nagar, Madurai, Tamil Nadu 625020, India.

1. What You Are Buying
One-time purchase · fixed access
Every plan on Pivot Coding is a one-time purchase of digital learning content for a fixed access period (1, 3, or 6 months). Access is unlocked automatically as soon as your payment is confirmed - normally within minutes. Plans never auto-renew, so there are no recurring charges to cancel.
2. How Payments & Refunds Work
Merchant of Record & processors
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our payment processor and Merchant of Record - the legal seller of record for your purchase, responsible for checkout, applicable taxes, and receipts. When a refund is approved under this policy, we instruct Dodo Payments to issue it to your original payment method. You never need to contact Dodo Payments yourself - email us first and we handle the rest.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you hold under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence (for example, withdrawal rights available to consumers in certain jurisdictions). Where such rights apply, they are honored through Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record.
3. When We Will Refund
Eligible scenarios
Because digital access begins immediately, payments are non-refundable once access has been granted. We will review and refund in these cases:
- You were charged more than once for the same plan (a duplicate or multiple payment) - we refund the extra charge(s).
4. When We Will Not Refund
Non-refundable scenarios
- Change of mind after purchase.
- Not using, or only partially using, the access period you bought.
- Having already read, viewed, or downloaded the content.
- Buying the wrong plan or the wrong duration.
- Deciding the content was not what you expected.
- Account terminated for breach of the Terms & Conditions.
Unsure whether your situation qualifies? Email us anyway. We read every request individually, and we can resolve most issues far faster than a bank chargeback (which typically takes weeks).
5. Your Consumer Rights
Statutory protections & cooling-off
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India), EU/UK consumer law, or any other consumer protection law in your country that cannot be excluded by contract. Where such rights apply, they take precedence over this policy. For EU/UK consumers: by purchasing, you agree that we supply the digital content immediately, and you acknowledge that accessing it ends any statutory cooling-off right, to the extent the law permits.
6. How to Request a Refund Review
Step-by-step process
1. Within 7 calendar days of the payment date shown on your receipt, email us.
2. Include three things your account email, the payment reference from your receipt, and what went wrong.
3. We reply within 5–7 business days with a decision or a follow-up question.
7. How Long Refunds Take
Processing timelines
Once approved, the refund is issued by Dodo Payments to your original payment method. It typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. If a refunded plan is still within its access period, access to paid content ends when the refund is issued.
8. Escalation
Disputes & Grievances
If you are unsatisfied with our decision, you may contact Dodo Payments directly using the details on your receipt, or raise a dispute through your bank or card issuer. We genuinely recommend talking to us first - chargebacks take several weeks, and we resolve most billing issues within days.
For unresolved disputes, you may also contact our Grievance Officer - Jeyakarthick Allwin at support@pivotcoding.com - who acknowledges complaints within 24 hours and resolves them within 15 days, as required by Indian law.
